英语简历 X 自我评价，4个步骤打造简历亮点

记得上一次兵长写得那篇《1招搞定简历中的自我评价》吗？ 这次换成，如何写英语版的自我评价。

上次英语自我介绍中提到，正因为中英语思路不同，英语自我评价必须直达核心。

譬如：

“Results-oriented, high-energy and hands-on professional with a successful record of accomplishments in the blood banking, training, and communication transmission industries. Seeking for a position in phlebotomy, related to training, quality assurance, or customer services.”

本篇会教你如何写好英语简历上的自我评价，共分成三个部分：

结构：结论在前，细节在后

用词：擅用动词、去除冗字

句型：”宾语 + 补语”为王道

符合英语逻辑的架构

小兵们永远要记得英文逻辑是：

先结论、再说明。

兵长举个例子解析一下：

Energetic and motivating leader with a proven ability to effectively manage both staff and long and short-term projects.A self-starter and strong independent worker who excels at analyzing products and procedures in order to generate new ideas that improve efficiency and production quality.

先结论（黑体部分）：

以形容词 + 名词总结你是哪种人，也就是这里的“Energetic and motivating leader”。

回想你的职业生涯，哪些特质特别受老板或同事赞赏，哪些特质特别凸显你的工作能力，你可能是：

Insightful and qualified accountant – 洞察力十足的合格会计师

Amiable and fastidious customer service representative – 和蔼又细心的客服人员

Motivated and adept market analyst – 积极且专业的市场分析师

再说明（红字部分）：

描述你真实的经历来补充或证实你的结论。

这部分自由度比较高，但强力推荐使用主动句、数字效果更好。

譬如：

会计师 – with 5 years of experience in KPMG, offering auditing service to major global firms, such as Google

客服人员 – who received the best service award based on 25,000 customer surveys in 2018

市场分析师 – leveraging 3-year experience in the commodity market, helping 80% of clients achieve investment goals and another 1 0% secure over USD$ 5 million in value

很重要，所以再说一遍：先结论、再说明。

文字如水，能载舟亦能覆舟

假想你是面试官，看到这段自我评价的感受是...

I have a lot of experience and focus on my customers, so my sales last year was 1 million RMB. I have superb leadership and know how to organize my team. I also give retail stores guidance, so they can follow and become more productive.

这段该有的数字、经验、领导力、组织力等都有，但读起来就是普通、无聊、像中学英文作文，面试官第一印象就是：这个人再不然没有真材实料，或是英语不好。

小兵们有没有发现前一段讲架构时，用的都是一下这些字眼儿：

Manage / excel at / generate / improve / offer / receive / leverage / achieve...

归纳一下，就是主动、正向、积极的字词，搭配上实际的数字、案例，才能给审查简历的HR很好的第一印象。

如果我把上面那段自我评价写成：

Experienced, customer-focused sales professional looking to leverage superb leadership, organizational, and communications talents to guide retail stores to heightened levels of productivity.

是不是好多了呢？ 简洁又有力。

灵魂的载具：句型

自我评价最重要的就是用最精简的句子凸显你的特点，因此句型特别重要。

兵长首推：

宾语 + 补语

其实，前段的例子完整来说是长这样的...

[I am an] Experienced, customer-focused sales professional looking to leverage superb leadership, organizational, and communications talents to guide retail stores to heightened levels of productivity.

主语 – 被省略的“I am a...”，因为所有人都知道你在说你自己

宾语 – “Experienced, customer-focused sales professional” 才是聚焦重点

宾语补语 – “looking to leverage superb leadership, organizational, and communications talents to guide retail stores to heightened levels of productivity” 用来补充焦点宾语，进一步凸显你的优势

这种写法的好处在于：强调宾语的重要性，省去不必要的主语干扰，用补语营造高强度的亮点。

这也是另一个原因，为什么这段自我评价“I have a lot of experience... so they can follow and become more productive”读起还会很冗长，感受不出重点。

~Bonus Time~

兵长建议最后再加一句话，表达你的求职意愿。

譬如：

Results-oriented, high-energy and hands-on professional with a successful record of accomplishments in the blood banking, training, and communication transmission industries. Seeking for a position in phlebotomy, related to training, quality assurance, or customer services.

黑体部份的句型是动名词词组，省略了主语"I am..."，达到用动词带出你的意图，聚焦积极进取的形象。

小兵们试着把自己的职业目标拆解开来，再用前面说的用词和句型写出来：

目前职位：HR Specialist

目标产业：不限

目标专业：Conduct new hire training, perform job evaluations and interviewing applicants

申请职位：HR manager

-> “Pursuing a manager position in human resources related to performing job evaluations, talent management, and employee training and development.”
